Toasted Furniture proposes a self-production scheme for a material that could be used in a standard furniture-making process. For a while now, Nuša Jelenec and Nina Mršnik, the designers and authors of the exhibition, have been working with a giant toaster that allows them to melt waste plastic into sheets which can be used to make furniture and products.
